As an agency of the Province of Ontario, we provide seasonal crossings on Georgian Bay from May through October between Tobermory on the Bruce Peninsula and South Baymouth, Manitoulin Island.
On behalf of the Ontario Ministry of Transportation, OSTC provides year-round service to Pelee Island and ferry crossings on Lake Erie from April through December between Kingsville and Leamington, Ontario and Sandusky, Ohio.
OSTC is a proud contributor to regional economic development and tourism promotion operating three ships and five terminals with a combined average of 2,500 lake crossings, transporting over 400,000 passengers and 100,000 vehicles annually.
Mandate
Owen Sound Transportation Company Limited contributes to the provision of safe, efficient and reliable ferry transportation in the Province of Ontario primarily through the operation of seasonal vehicle/passenger ferry service between Tobermory and South Baymouth, Manitoulin Island. The company is committed to economic development in the region by supporting the creation of a positive business climate and by enhancing and promoting the tourism sector through partnerships with local communities and regional stakeholders. |
