The M.S. Chi-Cheemaun ferry is owned and operated by Owen Sound Transportation Company, Limited (OSTC). OSTC is an Operational Enterprise Agency of the Province of Ontario with its corporate headquarters in Owen Sound. As an integral part of Ontario’s tourism and transportation system, OSTC provides ferry services to Manitoulin and the Bruce Peninsula, drawing tourists to the area from May through October each year.
Seasonally, M.S. Chi-Cheemaun captain and crew total 70 employees with another 35 employees at our terminals in Tobermory and South Baymouth.

Our customer service team located in our Owen Sound office, assist thousands of travellers each season with their travel planning, scheduling and reservations. When travelling north, we invite you to stop by our office where we provide complimentary area guides and will be pleased to meet with you to review maps, points of interest and book reservations.
